Returned Check Policy
For any process paid by check, HANA will deposit your check upon receipt. If your check is returned for any reason, you will be required to pay the amount of the check, plus a $25 returned check fee, by check or through PayPal. If this is not paid within two weeks, HANA will reverse, to the extent possible, whatever process you had paid for. If you are a member, HANA will suspend your membership privileges until payment is received. Please ensure that funds are available to cover your check. Thank you!
Membership Dues
New memberships are for the current calendar year (or three years), regardless of when the application is submitted. Renewals are due by January 1. Membership benefits include receipt of the seasonal e-newsletter (“Hokka Howl”), and the ability to advertise in the Hokka Howl e-newsletter and in the Breeders Directory. Only HANA members are eligible for Year-End Awards, Total Dog Versatility Awards, Top 10 Standings, and Hall of Fame recognition programs. Additionally, only HANA members are entitled to vote for Officers and Board members of the club. Members also vote on other specific issues affecting the club.
New Members: Required submit an online membership application form to HANA for approval. HANA will then send you a PayPal invoice for your membership dues. Any questions or concerns, email info@hokkaidoken.com
Renewals Only: HANA sends a membership renewal postcard by mail along with an email when your membership is about to expire. Members may renew by either returning the postcard with a check or money order for membership dues, or renew membership by returning the postcard with a request for payment through PayPal.
